  3. If you are running System 7, you can publish any of the M.Y.O.B. reports for 
  4.  
  5. 'real-time' updating of other applications.

  11. The first time you publish a report, you must create a new edition for that 
  12.  
  13. report.  Go to either the Index to Reports or the screen report itself. 
  14.  
  15. Then select Publishing - Create Publisher in the Edit menu.  Click on the 
  16.  
  17. Publish button to create the edition.  The next time you look at the Index 
  18.  
  19. to Reports, you'll see a small shaded rectangle to the left of any report 
  20.  
  21. name which already has a published edition.

  27. You can either publish a report automatically each time you save the data 
  28.  
  29. file, or manually publish the report. Do this from either the Index to 
  30.  
  31. Reports screen or from the screen report itself.

  35. From the Index to Reports, double-click on the small shaded rectangle to 
  36.  
  37. the left of the report name.  (Or highlight the name of the report and

  39. select Publishing - Publisher Options in the Edit menu.)

  43. From the screen report, double-click anywhere on the screen.  (Or select

  49. Select the On Save radio button to have M.Y.O.B. automatically publish

  63. System 7 will not allow you to delete a published edition from the

  65. Finder.  You must start up the application which created the edition 
  66.  
  67. and cancel the publisher.  Then, if you want, publish a new edition

  69. using a new name or a new location.

  73. To do this, either highlight the name of the report in the Index to 
  74.  
  75. Reports, or generate the report to the screen.  Then select Publishing - 
  76.  
  77. Publisher Options in the Edit menu.  Click on the Cancel Publisher 
  78.  
  79. button.  The published edition will be deleted when the data file is 
  80.  
  81. next saved.
